With an eight-day mechanical movement, made by the renowned French maker, Japy Freres. The movement bears the seal by the mak- er, dating the clock to the 1880s. The movement strikes the 'hour' and 'half-hour' on a tuned bell. The alabaster case has decorative gilt ormolu accents in roman style and has a transfer of a classical figure with a harp. A blue and gold painted urn sur- mounts it. The alabaster dial has painted flowers with Roman numerals. The clock rests on its original gilt wooden stand.

19th century, in the form of a pavillion, the dome of the octagonal building pierced with engraved scrolls and opening with a lever mechanism, with eight petal shaped segments hinged to reveal a circular attardaan, the sides with eight classical columns flanking pierced and glazed arched windows, supported on a lobed, circular dish with a right cosmetic holder with floral filigree decoration, decorated throughout, except for the roof, with a wavy filigree foliate design and standing on a copper base that incorporates a lifting mechanism.

Circa 1860, with an eight-day duration mechanical movement with 'half-hour' and 'hour' strike dial. This clock has inlaid wood insets and Barley twist pillars which focus on the gilt metal dial. This clock also has an eight-day twin train movement with a bimetallic pendulum and strikes on a bell.

WESTERN INDIA, c. 1900 A very impressive and elegant insignia casted in silver with Hanuman in a flying pose over the central medallion depicting Bhagwan Shri Surya Narayan in a seven horse chariot, inscribed with Maharana Shri Ranjit Singhji Thakore Sahib (probably Udaipur) flanked by two lions with a painted inscription at the bottom in Devangiri script.

The Thurra is with gold thread tied over a stick, with large Basra pearls, fine quality Burmese rubies and a large spinal drop of fine quality and colour.

SOUTH INDIA, c. 1960, custom-made, elegant and profusely encrusted with exotic English cut diamonds, Burmese rubies and an exquisitely large Columbian emerald of excellent colour and clarity set as a backdrop to the goddess Lakshmi, who is seated on a lotus carved out of a Burmese ruby and a half moon-shaped diamond. The solid gold temple has an arched column and a gopuram made with two horns, set with two large diamonds, rubies, emeralds and flat diamonds all over. The Columbian emerald weighs 127 carats approximately, the Burmese rubies weigh 58 carats approximately and the diamonds weigh 28 carats approximately, set in 22 carat gold, weighing 434 grams.
