A fine and decorative Regency style Victorian silver, gold gilted oval fruit bowl holder, supported by four wyverns, their heads, wings and monopode clawed feet cast in full relief, their wings entwined around the pierced base. The upper gallery has a decorative serrated rim cast in anthemion style. Hallmarked for Frederick Elkington, Birmingham (England).
