Bumpus Ltd., c.1905, eleven colour plates of cavalry, forty photogravures with titled tissue guards, top edge gilt, remainder untrimmed, original gilt decoration on blue cloth with arms of Gwalior and Prince of Wales crests. When in December 1905, the Prince of Wales hunting visit to Nepal was suddenly cancelled, the Maharaja of Gwalior was pleased to offer a five day hunting visit to Gwalior and this book is an account of that visit.
This copy has been signed and dated 1908 by the fifth Maharaja of Gwalior, Madho Rao Scindia, pp 138.
