Details
A rare and exquisite painting of Vithoba (manifestation of Vishnu or his avatar, Krishna), also known as Vitthal or Panduranga, Pandharinath, Hari or also Narayan, standing over a brick slab under an arched canopy on a terrace against a vibrant green background. Embossed kundan work over gold leaf, profusely embellished with semi-precious stones, glazed and framed, this work could also be referred to as that of Vitthalnath as many believe that Vithoba was a Jain saint.
