An Uzebek or Kyrgyz Julkhyr Rug, late 19th C to early 20th C. A beautiful, colourful long Julkhyr (representing bearskin) rug, probably woven by Arab tribes in the Kyrgyz or Uzbek regions of central Asia. Woven in multiple narrow strips of diamonds and two blue side and bottom borders, all sown together to form the rug. Rare and primitive. 8 ft 11 in by 2 ft 7 in
