A Lesghi or Moghan Long Rug, South Caucasus, late 19th C. A rare rug, probably Lesghi or Moghan, with an unusual bichrome field depicting shields or stylized flowerheads. Major border comprises bird hooks encased by a classic trefoil minor border.
