A Kurdish Sanjabi Rug

A Kurdish Sanjabi Rug, Northwest Persia, late 19th C. A classic Persian or Iraqi Jaff or Sanjabi Kurdish rug with a heavily abrashed green/brown main border with serrated leaf and stepped diamond design. Interesting ivory ground minors with small diamonds and inset ashik guls, separated by unusual latch hooked bars. Top end with original natural wool flat woven kilim with some fancy embroidery. 6 ft 9 in by 4 ft 2 in
