A Kuba Fragmentary Rug

A Kuba Fragmentary Rug, Caucasus, late 19th C. A highly desirable white ground rug that is likely better suited for mounting as a piece of striking tribal art for the wall. The rug has a colourful palette including a range of hues and is in overall rough condition. Parts of the rug have been backed with fabric to secure the damage, and the composition has also been touched up with paint in a few places to better read the drawing.
