A Kazak Shikli Rug, South Caucasus, late 19th C. A rare rug in a highly abstracted geometric composition rarely seen in these rugs. Full lustrous thick pile throughout. A very dramatic, rich, artistic rug with wonderful colours. Complete rug with its original edges both sides. Wool warp and red dyed wool weft.
