MUGHAL, c. late 18th century, with the face of a lion with turquoise eyes on the hilt of exceptional quality with good relief details in solid silver set, over a large single-edged wootz steel blade and a cloth-covered sheath decorated with metal thread floral motifs.

MUGHAL, 19th century, with silver grips and enamel work set with uncut diamonds in gold pear-shaped kundan work technique, with dark blue enamel with a gilded turquoise blue floral motif on the lower half and green enamel on the upper half, a straight single-edged steel blade.

NORTH INDIA, 19th century, with gold koftkari work on the edge, with the grips covered in gold kundan setting with rubies, emeralds and uncut diamonds all over on both sides and with a straight single-edged watered steel blade of an exceptional quality.

LUCKNOW/AWADH REGION, 19th century, with a solid silver hilt with enamel work all over it that is typical of the Lucknow/Awadh region, with floral and vine patterns, and a blade of good quality wootz steel with excellent water marks to it.

a) A zoomorphic katar, Bundi, c. 17th century, of an exceptional quality, with a pair of standing elephants in full relief between the grip bars on the hilt, a pair of standing lions in full relief on the base of the blade, the tapering steel blades chased on either side with an arched top and with side bars also of watered steel, showing good water marks all over, with deeply chiseled fullers of a good quality. This is a good example of a katar from the Bundi armory and is from the Imperial armory.
b) A gem set kundan gilded katar, Deccan, mid - 18th century, with gold kundan covered side bars set with rubies and emeralds. The blade of watered steel, with a chinar tree running in the centre, is typical of the Deccan pieces.

MUGHAL, early 19th century, with a hilt of bone with solid gold sheet repousse, a steel blade and an exquisite solid silver sheath with gilded details and high relief work.

18th century, with a parrot head on the hilt, which is of an exceptional quality, with gold koftkari work all over it, with a wootz steel blade, and with the sword's original velvet-covered scabbard with highly decorative solid silver chaps fittings on the top and bottom.

17th century, jade hilt with high relief carvings and rubies studded in gold kundan on the ends, with a wootz steel blade, and with the dagger's original scabbard with jade chaps fittings on the top and bottom, also with high relief carvings.

TWO INDIAN SILVER DAGGERS (KATTARI), Gujarat, c. 1900, one with a wooden scabbard overlaid with silver bands engraved with two peacocks and flower motifs with vernacular inscriptions and with bone handle. The other with a silver scabbard and a silver handle.
