MODH & THURRA WITH BASRA PEARLS & BURMESE RUBIES

A GRAND CEREMONIAL MODH AND THURRA, RAJASTHAN, c. 20th century, with the set of two Modh's embroidered with gold thread over cardboard, embellished with real Basra pearls and fine quality spinal, with a central locket made of gold, enameled with a European coat of arms on one Modh (groom) and a pearl swastika on the other (bride), both with tassels made of pearls and gold foil thread. The Thurra is with gold thread tied over a stick, with large Basra pearls, fine quality Burmese rubies and a large spinal drop of fine quality and colour.
