SILVER TRAY

A very fine and rare Parcel Gilt Silver tray with Radha & Krishna surrounded by Gopikas below a tree on the banks of a river with two peacocks and few boulders. Krishna plays his ceremonial flute and the Gopika's play different musical instruments and dance merrily. This particular tray or wall hanging is castes, chased and engraved out of a thick Silver Plate probably made for the Rajasthani Royalties as the work appears to be from Rajasthan and is of fine quality with profuse Gold Gilding with the circular Lotus Petals and an inner band of smaller petals.
