A Kurdish Yuruk Cochineal Rug, East Anatolian, mid to late 19th C. A row of three connected medallions, each with a central rectangular motif with long horizontally extended hooks on a red cochineal ground with one last stripe of burnt orange abrash. The wefts have been dyed indigo blue. Tightly woven with great pile all over, minus some corroded areas. 6 ft 1 in by 4 ft 7 in
