A Kurdish Long Rug, possibly Kazak region, Southwest Caucasus, mid to late 19th C, with simplified Memling guls (named after the famous Flemish painter Hans Memling), a striking major border of quartered diamonds, and a simple trefoil outer guard meant to trick the eye and draw it closer to the main field.
