A Gabbeh Qashqai Rug, Southwest Persia, early 20th C. A classic old Southwest Persian gabbeh (signifying unclipped in Farsi) rug, most likely woven by the Qashqai tribe. A very simple and bold composition of three diamond medallions filled with minimal geometric flower and square icons.
