A French silver pierced oval basket, possibly by Bardi's, Faure & Cie, circa 1916, with an applied dart rim, with a narrow pierced band of leaf scrolls and a wider band of pierced slats below, centred with an inscription INDIAN VETERINARY HOSPITAL ROUEN NOVEMBER 1916 and six facsimile signatures.
