MARTIN HURLIMAN (1897 - 1984)

Two most significant and iconic stone carvings depicting the chariot wheel and four Lions atop a pillar as finial at Sun Temple in Konark, Odisha. Both these iconic carvings were used as official emblems of independent India in 1947. All very fine and sharp photogravures from original negative plates.
