The Maharaja visited England in 1920, at which time this photograph was taken, It was mentioned in the Court Circular of 9 June 1920 wherein he hosted a dinner party at Claridge's Hotel in London for the Secretary for India Mr Montague and others. A very fine original Studio Albumen photograph captioned on reverse 'Sirdar Sarangel Singh - Maharaja of Kapurthala States', by ACME Newspictures, New York. Dated 6 June 1929
